Blizzard has confirmed that the new spirit beast, Aradan, is now available for Beast Mastery hunters to tame, but the exact method to capture it is still unknown.
Blizzard stated: "We’ve noticed some hunters believe Aradan is not yet tameable. While capturing this mysterious Stormcrow isn’t as straightforward as other hunter pets, we want to confirm for those eager to tame Aradan that nothing is preventing you from capturing this spirit beast." Good luck to everyone hoping to tame this blue spectral bird! Based on theories from international World of Warcraft players, I’ve compiled a list of attempts and ideas for how to obtain Aradan. Hopefully, these tips will help hunters uncover the mystery and tame it soon.
Attempts and Theories to Obtain Aradan
Aradan is a spirit beast found in the "Nest of the Thunderer" dungeon on Dorn Isle. After defeating the dungeon’s first boss, Aradan can be seen circling overhead. Although Beast Lore confirms that Aradan is a tameable spirit beast, how to make it neutral or hostile for taming remains a mystery.
Unsuccessful Methods Tried (all done near Aradan):
Soloing the dungeon on normal difficulty.
Releasing all chained Stormgryphons and Stormgryphon hatchlings.
Using the buff "Favor of the Stormgryphon" to kill nearby enemies.
Killing all hostile creatures in the dungeon, except for Void Knights and Berserk Stormgryphons.
Using all emote commands directed at Aradan.
Using the trinket "Charged Storm Feather" dropped by the boss Kyrios.
Soloing the dungeon on heroic difficulty until Aradan appears (very challenging).
Drinking Brewmaster beer until completely drunk and vomiting.
Some Theories:
Aradan's title is "Mourning Stormgryphon," which might be related to Kyrios’ death or certain events in the dungeon. On Dorn Isle’s Mourning Ridge, there is a gravestone mentioning a Stormknight named Bagdur, who loved Brewmaster beer and gems. These items could potentially be linked to capturing Aradan.
While the exact method remains undiscovered, since Blizzard has confirmed that Aradan is indeed tameable, players will need to explore more possibilities. Hopefully, hunters will soon find a way to tame this elusive spirit beast.
