Embers of Neltharion Mythic+ Fun Week

Source:lootwow

Oct-10-2024

In World of Warcraft: Embers of Neltharion, the Mythic+ Fun Week has arrived! When it comes to the Great Vault, Blizzard no longer allows players to repeatedly run Vickseel for vault fill counts. Instead, players now have to grind the Underground Fortress (M+ Dungeon) honestly to fill their vault slots. Previously, running Vickseel eight times in 20 minutes could fill up three 616-item-level vault slots, but now it takes about three hours to do the same.

Since most mainstream players already have high-level gear, the 616 gear from the vault isn’t as useful anymore. So, it's recommended to run two Underground Fortress dungeons just to fill one 616-item-level vault slot, and along the way, you might also get a shot at the 610-item-level treasure map (with a 1/7 drop rate).

Mythic+ Dungeon: Affixes and Strategies

This week’s minor affix is Fortified, which makes 9+ Mythic bosses noticeably easier to handle. Additionally, the Sargeras’ Bargain affix is quite simple this week. Sargeras applies a debuff to players, but Shamans can quickly cleanse it with their Cleansing Totem, and other classes like Priests with Mass Dispel or Monks with Revival can also handle it effectively. Every cleanse increases players’ critical strike chance by 4% and maximum health by 2% (so cleansing five players would give a 20% crit buff and 10% extra health). This affix offers a fantastic benefit to players, making it one of the easier affixes to deal with and boosting performance.

As a result, the difficulty this week is much lower compared to last week. If you're low on Draconic Seals, this is the perfect time to enjoy farming Mythic+ dungeons at level 9. Reaching the weekly cap of 480 Draconic Seals shouldn’t be difficult.

Mythic Raid BOE Gear is Tradeable

All BOE (Bind on Equip) gear from Mythic raids is now unlocked and can be traded or sold at the Auction House. For wealthy players, this is a chance to grab some 629-item-level gear. The value of "trash farming" runs (killing non-boss mobs) has increased. Key BOE items available include:

  •     Versatility/Mastery rings

  •     Cloth helm and boots

  •     Leather shoulders and belt

  •     Mail shoulders and belt

  •     Plate helm and boots

Raid Buff Now Available – A Bit of a Grind

Starting this week, a new raid buff is available. Players can earn a 3% raid-wide buff by collecting 16 Elegant Outfits from the Neltharion’s Palace. Every boss drops one Elegant Outfit per week, no matter the difficulty level, and players can only collect one per boss per week. Therefore, the maximum number of outfits you can collect each week is eight, meaning it will take two weeks to unlock the 3% Wound Break buff.

This buff is account-wide for your raid characters, so you only need to run the palace once (even on LFR difficulty). The buff stacks every two weeks, increasing by 3%, meaning in about two months, you’ll have a 12% buff for taking on Mythic raid content.

This is the summary of what to expect during this Mythic+ Fun Week and the new raid-related buffs. It's a great time to jump in and enjoy the easier affixes, farm seals, and prepare for higher-end content.
